These unique rectangular Sterling Silver drop earrings were inspired by the sea that surrounds Cornwall.
The rectangle that makes the focal point of the earring measures approx 26mm (2.6 cm) long by 11mm (1.1cm) wide. From the top of the earring wire, to the bottom of the rectangle, the total length is approx 36mm (3.6 cm), meaning that the drop below the ear and could be worn as a statement piece.
Half of the rectangle has a hammered texture, with a high shine, depicting the reflection on the sea as the sun peers through the hazy clouds. The remaining half has a light brushed finish that merges with the high shine, hammered texture just as the horizon merges the sea to the hazy sky. The back of the earring is finished with a brushed texture.
They have a beautiful contemporary simplicity to them yet still make a subtle statement! They are a go to piece for wearing both day or night and would make a great gift, appropriate for many occasions!
