This Sterling Silver bracelet is inspired by stormy days on the Cornish coast and finding beauty in amongst the 'grey.'
The Stormy Seas charm design, made from Sterling Silver, measures aprox 1.1cm (11mm) at its widest point and aprox 1.6cm (16mm) at it's tallest.
The inside of the dome has been treated with an oxidising treatment to blacken it, which has been lightly polished. The polishing process removes some of the colour and also gives it a sheen that changes the intensity of colour - depending on which direction you look at it, it looks various shades of grey and black, just like a stormy sky! Half of the concave dome is then textured again and small sections of the blackened, polished surface are hand engraved to reveal the silver - it's this that is representative of the ferocious sea.
The edge of the dome is flat and has been polished for contrast against the inside of the blackened dome. The charm is presented in a fixed position on a belcher style chain, measuring 7.5 inches long (please get in contact if an alternative length is required). The back of the charm has been finished with a brushed texture, while the chain bracelet is polished.
